Association Named Alumnae Excellence Award Recipient

On behalf of Delta Gamma Fraternity Council and Alumnae Leadership, I am pleased to inform you that Columbia-Midlands alumnae association has met all of the requirements in order to receive the 2023-2024 Alumnae Excellence Award. Along with this letter, you are receiving a certificate and digital badge to be displayed on your group’s website and social media. Congratulations from the Fraternity on this notable achievement! Please share this accomplishment with your membership! Each alumnae group receives a score and color classification for each of the Fraternity Standards, as well as an overall score and color classification for the year. Based on how closely each alumnae group aligns with the Fraternity Standards, a group can be classified as: exceeding expectations (Bronze), meeting expectations (Pink), room for improvement (Blue), or not in good standing (Blue – Not Meeting Core Elements). Alumnae groups who receive an overall color classification of Bronze are awarded the Alumnae Excellence Award to honor their success and achievement in each of the Fraternity Standards. The award criteria present an ideal opportunity for chapter evaluation as well as identification of strengths and areas for improvement. As you share this accomplishment with your Executive Board, it will be helpful in setting goals so that next year can be another awardwinning year! Please proudly display the attached award certificate in a place where your alumnae group members or board gather. You are also encouraged to post the social media image on all of your group’s platforms to share your success with others. Congratulations again on an outstanding year!

Member of Impact Recognition Program

The Member of Impact recognition program seeks to honor members who live out our Delta Gamma values by making significant contributions to their own communities. Whether professional achievements, volunteer accomplishments or other successes, thousands of Delta Gammas do good daily, and their community contributions should be recognized. A Member of Impact may be self-nominated or nominated by another member via this form. The application will remain open, and there is no deadline. A committee of Delta Gamma volunteers will review the applications quarterly and recommend which members will be recognized. Recipients will be announced quarterly in the DG Headlines newsletter.

In addition to being recognized as a Member of Impact, their story may be shared across Delta Gamma’s communication channels to highlight our amazing members further. A Member of Impact must be:

-A Delta Gamma in good standing.
-A Delta Gamma who lives by all aspects of Article II and our do good motto.
-A Delta Gamma who has made a significant impact within their community, professional field or in the lives of others that puts our purpose into practice on a large scale.
